Technical services /Management
Navico Marine FZE is providing full technical services. More specifically, it has a diversified team of technical, HSQE marine, electrical superintendents and purchasers per group of vessels which is supervised by a senior superintendent (head of group), who look after the proper maintenance, repairs, surveys and supply of spares provisions of each vessel. Superintendents monitor the performance and condition of the vessels by both routine reports and frequent onboard visits and inspections. Vessels undergo scheduled dry-dockings, which are meticulously planned and with work lists developed from dry-dock to dry-dock after consulting the vessels’ crew, bearing in mind suggestions for improvement and upgrades.
Plan Maintenance System: using advanced software the inspection and maintenance works of the vessel are closely monitored by the shore management. We have long experience in the complete technical management of oil and chemical tankers. We pride ourselves on safely operating our vessels with a record that is second to none in our industry.
Despite this, we are looking for ways to improve every day. To maintain our standards at the highest levels, our technical staff is constantly trained on all aspects of safety. Our group of technical, operational and crew management experts, which includes naval architects, naval commanders, chief engineers and different types of industry experience, work closely with other areas of the company on a daily basis to ensure safe naval operations and cost efficient. Our company today offers a wide range of shipping services including complete technical management of all types of oil and chemical tankers.
Chartering
Our Vessel Chartering division work closely with ship owners to charter vessels for our customer’s shipments (both part and full cargo), by checking and planning all technical, legal and commercial aspects. In doing so, we are able to help minimize any risk surrounding the transportation of our customer’s consignments, by supplying them with transport that is fully compliant with international standards. The Vessel Chartering division also works closely with our Commercial division, offering its technical expertise for projects.
Commercial Chartering
Over many years we have acquired important experience in the management of tanker ships. We are proud of the results achieved which are second to none in our sector, but despite this we are looking for ways to improve every day. To maintain our standards at the highest levels, a fundamental role is played by our technical staff who are constantly trained on all management aspects and above all on safety. Our group of technical, operational and crew management experts, which includes naval engineers, captains with long sailing experience, chief engineer officers and staff with different types of industry knowledge, work closely with other areas of the company on a daily basis to ensure safe and cost-effective naval operations. Our company today offers a wide range of services including complete technical management for every type of liquid cargo vessel.
Crew Management
Navico Marine FZE employees and offer career opportunities to officers and crew of various nationalities from Asia and Africa. A common IT crewing tool is used by our crewing departments to propose job opportunities at any time to Navico Marine FZE seafarers allowing to develop and retain competencies within the Group.To ensure that all vessels are manned with qualified and competent crew, a detailed training matrix, which includes external and in-house training above minimum statutory requirements as well as computer-based training, has been developed and is evaluated on a quarterly basis. Training performed is being recorded and assessed, and training needs are being further evaluated during quarterly management review meetings. Additionally, sea staff, being on leave, is provided the opportunity for shore-based training, by attending office activities, seminars and conferences and is kept in contact with the Company through newsletters and regular communication.
